My wife has sentenced. My little son and I are condemned to not wearing anything white clothes in the next 10 to 15 years. No matter what you do, no matter how much precaution you have, it all ends the same. Wine, oil, or tomato come to the party. And that polo or shirt ended like a Kleenex. One use only. No matter what you do, it’s time you look for a second use or prepare to send it to a charity. One use only, as I said. Like great RFPs. Millions spent. Dozens of consultants mobilized. Then… nothing. One use only. No pipeline. No transfer of knowledge. The public agency loses the opportunity to step up, get people “upgrade” with training and new experience. They are doomed… like my white clothes. ​ This is something I repeat on every occasion. Interview, conference, chats… A solid pipeline you can trust is the basis to build up a country… or at least its infrastructure. One project after another, and you’ll get noticed. People will invest in getting there. Lenders, equity providers, operators and builders. The more projects you do, the better you perform. Faster RFPs, better margins, lower prices, better value for money, better lawyers, more efficient dispute processes… less troubles. ​ Avoid the one use only.
